Monthly update

Dear Vision Team Family and Friends,

This past month has been a whirlwind of ministry activity!  I have been hard at work writing some new devotionals, for a devotional book that is in the works as well as writing some articles for various projects.  I have discovered that I deeply love the writing process…I could see myself doing that full time! Incubator is getting ready to launch my new ministry office, which is going to be an amazing new tool in this ministry outreach!  More on that as the time draws closer...

I managed to squeeze in some time for some song rewrites and was able to sing at Relay for Life on April 23rd.  This is an amazing faith-based relay to cure cancer sponsored by Geyer Springs Baptist Church.  Many cancer survivors shared their stories of how God sustained them through the darkest moments of their lives; every person I spoke to gave God the glory for His healing, love and grace.  They are an inspiration and I was so honored to be part of this beautiful event. 

I will be singing at Pauline Baptist Church in Monticello, AR on May 9th for their Mother’s Day service and at the Missionary Baptist Seminary’s graduation services on May 14th at 7:00 p.m. (Antioch Baptist Church in Little Rock, AR).  I would especially covet your prayers for a strong, healthy voice during these worship services.  Allergies are my enemy right now! J

God is blessing by leaps and bounds in every area.  I’m happy to announce that I am expecting a baby again.  Our family is beyond thrilled and we are asking God to keep His hedge of protection will be around this new little life.  During this past year, our family has learned that we can praise God in every situation and this is a wonderful place to be!
